Dear friends for the culture of life,
It’s election year, and, as expected, there’s intense focus on the outcome of polling day and its implications for New Zealand society.
There’s just one problem: even though the situation with abortion and euthanasia is worsening, both in total numbers and attempts to erode existing limitations, election outcomes are no longer having a positive impact on these two critical issues.
We aren’t interested in collecting scraps from the political table; we want to see deep and meaningful change; so we’re thinking and acting well beyond election cycles!
This is precisely why we chose to invest in a brand new, more intentional pro-life social media outreach strategy in 2025. The results of this have been truly astounding. Since last June we have had over 2.3 million views on Facebook, and more than 56,000 on our other platforms.
We recently published a powerful whistle-blower testimony from a NZ doctor about the harms of euthanasia in our hospitals; as well as heartbreaking testimony from a NZ midwife who witnessed a failed late-term abortion with a baby left to die for hours after being born alive.
These important testimonies are going public thanks to your support, and we are now hearing from other medical professionals who are being inspired to take action as a result of the publicity these stories are attracting on our social media pages!
We also have another ACTIV8 Pro-Life Youth Camp coming up in July.
This event is having such a major impact that the head of a pro-abortion lobby group attacked it in a recent interview; lamenting that “they are targeting very young people” and training them “how to counter pro-choice narratives.”
The reason for this push-back is because, in spite of media and political silence, our social media and in-person outreach activities are powerfully amplifying the pro-life voice, reaching hearts and minds well beyond those already committed to the pro-life cause!
Our April school holiday South Island Pro-Life Youth Tour - thought up and organised by one of our new young leaders - is yet another example of the impact our important work is having.
The outreach doesn’t end there either; we are currently working on several other exciting new initiatives to reach even more people with the truth of the pro-life message.
