Elaine Borger

Elaine become involved with Voice For Life in 2015, when the Nelson branch was revived after a number of years in recess. She and her husband have been on the Nelson committee since that time, and she has been serving in the role of Secretary.

In 2017, Elaine began The Booties Project. This involved nationwide participation and co-ordination of knitters who produced 13,285 pairs of baby booties. These were displayed on the lawn at Parliament in July 2018 to represent the babies lost to abortion the previous year.

Elaine has spoken at high schools and youth groups as well as other initiatives in her region. She is also a volunteer for ProLove in Heston, Tasman and West Coast districts.
